8th Annual CareerTrackers Gala Dinner

by Jessica Kieft | Feb 07, 2018

Back in November, we asked our community of passionate Accredited Practitioners to give up their time to help out the new batch of CareerTrackers interns, who were taking up positions within companies for the summer. The CareerTrackers summits held across the country, was to prepare and give the interns the mindset and skills for entering the workforce. We were asked to help deliver a session around thinking and awareness – based on the concepts of the LSI1.

Last week CareerTrackers held their 8th Annual Gala Dinner along with over 2,000 people, comprising of indigenous students and senior business leaders from large household name companies including Westpac, Bupa, Telstra and Qantas. Throughout the night there were incredibly inspiring speeches from the Founder and CEO Michael Combs about the CareerTrackers Advantage Report, Bupa’s first indigenous intern Natasha Ward delivering a key note on identity and belonging; and the 2018 South Australian Young Australian of the year Kyran Dixon, who is a role model for young indigenous people and founding member of the Aboriginal Youth Cancer Advisory Group.

Congratulations to all the award winners, including one of our clients Metro Trains Melbourne who were awarded for their internship program, Murray Wright from LIW for Most Valued Partner and Kevin Nuttall from Waterfield on winning the Co-Chair’s Award.
